so, I watched the movie My Left Foot with some friends back in '95 or so. My friend Dan said to me "if you could draw half as good with your left foot as you can with your hands, then I will be impressed!" So, I took that challenge. I went home, threw my sketchbook and pencil on the floor and sat on the edge of my bed holding a reference photo of Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious. I worked for about an hour sketching with my left foot. any erasing i had to do, I would drop the pencil, flip it over and erase with my foot. I made it a point never to touch the paper with my hands. The very next day, I showed up at Dan's house and showed him what I did. I think he was impressed.
